THE LINE

A phone system with nothing to install.

Seats, extensions, forwarding, voicemail and business hours — in the browser.

Everybody who needs a line gets one, and every line is already attached to the customer records they are ringing about.

What this actually is

A business phone system is the thing that decides where a call goes and what is kept about it. Not a phone — the layer above the phones.

Traditionally that was a box in a cupboard called a PBX, with wires to every desk. Then it moved to somebody else's data centre and got called cloud PBX or hosted PBX. Ours is the same job done in a browser tab, with one difference that matters: the call is filed against the customer record, not into a phone product that sits beside your CRM.

So there is nothing to install, nothing to wire, and no separate system holding half the story.

What a seat gets you

A line in the browser

Sign in and the phone is there. No handset, no desk software, no IT visit.

Its own extension

Internal calls between people on the system are free and instant.

IN BUILD

Forwarding and voicemail

Send a line to a mobile after hours; voicemail as audio and as text. Not switched on yet.

Business hours

A line that knows when the office is shut, so nobody is rung at eleven at night.

Caller identity

The person's record opens as the phone rings, with their invoices and last conversation on it.

Recorded by default

Every call kept and searchable, against the person it was with.

What you get

Every one of these has its own page saying whether it is live today.

What it costs

Priced per person, per month, with every number on the pricing page being the number you pay. Call charges come from your own trunk and we do not mark them up.

Questions

Asked before buying

Do I need to buy handsets?
No. The browser is the phone. A login, a headset and internet that can carry a call is the whole list.
Can I keep my existing number?
Usually. Porting takes weeks rather than minutes, and we do it with you. If you already have a SIP trunk we can sit on top of it instead, which is same-day.
What happens when somebody leaves?
You switch off a login. Their calls, recordings and follow-ups stay on the customers they belong to, because they were never on a handset.
How many people can it take?
The floor it was built for runs 430 centres across 17 countries. Above fifty seats the setup is built with you rather than self-served.

About the number itself

Your phone number is provisioned with you, not self-served in three minutes. We connect the trunk, port or issue the number and test it with your team on the call. The software itself is running the moment you sign up — you can record, transcribe and file calls from day one.
